The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with schools and multi-academy trusts across Manchester to recruit reliable and enthusiastic School Catering Assistants. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with catering, hospitality or kitchen experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing healthy meals to pupils.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with food preparation, serving meals and cleaning duties
- Supporting a safe, hygienic and efficient kitchen environment
- Following food safety, allergen and health & safety procedures
- Washing up and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Assisting with stock control and basic kitchen records
- Working effectively as part of a friendly catering team
- Providing excellent service to pupils, staff and visitors
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a catering, hospitality or kitchen environment
- Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety requirements
- A positive, proactive and team-focused attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Willingness to undertake relevant training where required

Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two employment references covering the last 24 months
- Right to work in the UK
