Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Sheffield (S12)

The Supply Register is recruiting Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a number of L.E.A.D Academy Trust primary schools in Sheffield, including:
- Birley Primary Academy
- Birley Spa Primary Academy
- Rainbow Forge Primary Academy
- Charnock Hall Primary Academy
Whether you’re looking for flexible supply work or a longer-term placement, we have opportunities available to suit your availability.
Role Responsibilities
- Support pupils in the classroom and during intervention sessions
- Work with small groups and individual pupils
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement
- Help create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment
- Support children’s social, emotional and learning development
We’re Looking For
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive and proactive approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
