Lunchtime Supervisor – Poole

The Supply Register are currently recruiting for a Lunchtime Supervisor to work within a school in Poole, starting as soon as possible.

The Role:

  • Location: Poole

  • Hours: 12:00pm – 1:00pm

  • Monday to Friday

  • 1 hour per day

  • Immediate start

  • Temporary opportunity

The successful candidate will support the school during the lunchtime period, helping to ensure pupils are safe, supervised and supported throughout lunchtime and playtime.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential

  • Confident and approachable manner

  • Good communication skills

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Able to work effectively as part of a school team

  • A positive attitude towards supporting children

  • School experience is desirable but not essential

Safeguarding & Compliance Requirements:

As this role is based within a school, all candidates must meet our safeguarding and compliance requirements, including:

  • Minimum of 2 employer references covering the previous 24 months

  • If you have not previously worked with children, 3 references will be required

  • Any employment gaps must be supported by a professional character reference

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is highly desirable, particularly due to the immediate start

  • Candidates without an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service must be willing to obtain a new Enhanced DBS

  • Right to Work documentation

  • Two proofs of address – utility bill/bank statement dated within the last 3 months, or council tax statement dated within the last 12 months

  • Proof of National Insurance

  • Proof of any name changes, where applicable

  • Overseas Police Check where required for candidates who have lived/worked outside the UK for more than 6 months

  • Completion of all mandatory online training courses provided by The Supply Register
