This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR service, supporting managers across the organisation, and contributing to the development of a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
About the Role
As an HR Business Partner at Kidderminster College, you will:
- Act as the primary HR contact for designated business areas, providing professional advice and support to managers,
- Manage a wide range of employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, attendance, performance, probation, and organisational change cases,
- Support recruitment activities, workforce planning initiatives, and employee lifecycle processes,
- Work collaboratively with managers to provide practical, business-focused HR solutions and ensure compliance with employment legislation,
- Support the implementation of people projects, organisational change initiatives, and continuous improvement activities,
- Line manage and support HR team members, ensuring high standards of service delivery are maintained.
What We’re Looking For
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent professional experience,
- Significant experience managing employee relations cases within a complex organisation,
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practice, and people management processes,
- Experience supporting organisational change, restructures, projects, or TUPE-related activities,
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills,
- Experience managing and developing staff teams, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
