Personal Care Assistant
Secondary SEN School – Bradford (BD15) Full‑Time or Part‑Time Hired Through The Supply Register
The Supply Register is recruiting Personal Care Assistants to support pupils in a secondary SEN school in the BD15 area of Bradford. We are seeking compassionate, reliable individuals who can provide high‑quality personal care and learning support to pupils with a range of additional needs.
This role is available on a full‑time or part‑time basis, offering flexibility for the right candidate.
About the Role
You will support pupils with:

Personal care routines (washing, toileting, changing, hygiene support)

Mobility and physical assistance
-
Classroom engagement and access to learning
-
Emotional regulation and wellbeing
-
Daily routines within a specialist SEN environment
All roles are offered on a supply basis through The Supply Register.
Key Responsibilities

Provide dignified, respectful personal care
-
Support pupils with physical or medical needs
-
Assist with classroom activities and engagement
-
Work collaboratively with SEN staff and teaching teams
-
Maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive environment
Requirements
-
Experience in personal care, SEN support, care work or similar
-
A calm, patient and empathetic approach
-
Ability to follow care plans and adapt to pupil needs
-
Reliability and strong communication skills
-
A DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
