The Supply Register is recruiting experienced Construction Lecturers to support Further Education colleges across the North East on a flexible basis. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience delivering qualifications in Brickwork, Carpentry & Joinery, Plumbing, Electrical Installation, Painting & Decorating, or Multi-Skills.
The Clients we work with:
- NCG (Newcastle College and Newcastle Sixth Form)
- Tyne Coast College (Tyne Met and South Tyneside)
- EPNE (Sunderland College, Northumberland College, HICSA, Hartlepool Sixth Form and Sunderland Sixth Form)
- New College Durham
The Role
As a Construction Lecturer, you will support learners to develop industry knowledge, practical trade skills, and achieve their qualifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering engaging classroom and workshop-based lessons
- Supporting learners to achieve vocational and technical qualifications
- Assessing learner work and providing constructive feedback
- Monitoring and tracking learner progress
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant Level 3 Construction qualification
- Previous experience teaching Construction within Further Education
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
