We are working in partnership with Leigh Academies Trust to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teachers to join a few of their successful secondary schools from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate educators to inspire young people and deliver engaging lessons within a supportive and ambitious academy environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Humanities lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Monitor student progress and implement effective strategies to raise attainment.
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community and departmental development.

Key Skills

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to motivate students and create an inclusive learning environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Humanities within the UK secondary curriculum.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
