About the Role
As a Health & Social Care Lecturer, your responsibilities will include:

Delivering high-quality, engaging teaching across BTEC and vocational Health & Social Care programmes.

Planning and preparing lessons that meet curriculum and awarding body standards.

Assessing student work, providing constructive feedback, and supporting learner development.
-
Contributing to curriculum planning and continuous improvement of teaching delivery.
-
Supporting learners with their progression, ensuring excellent outcomes and positive learning experiences.
What We’re Looking For
-
Experience teaching Health & Social Care at FE or post-16 level (BTEC experience ideal).

Strong subject knowledge — backgrounds in nursing, midwifery, NHS or social care sectors are highly valued.

A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work toward one.
-
Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire diverse learners.
-
A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
