The Supply Register is delighted to be supporting West Lancashire College in recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join their learner support team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in helping students reach their full potential across a wide range of courses and learning levels.
About the Role
As an LSA at West Lancashire College, you will:

Provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs (SEND, SEMH, cognitive learning needs, physical needs, etc.)

Assist learners in accessing the curriculum and developing independent learning skills.

Work collaboratively with lecturers to adapt activities and resources.
-
Support behaviour management and help maintain a positive learning environment.

Deliver 1:1 or small-group support sessions when required.

Contribute to learner support plans and record progress effectively.
What We’re Looking For
-
Experience working with young people or adults in an education, support, or care setting.

Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping learners succeed.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
-
Adaptability across subjects and learner needs.
-
Level 2/3 support qualification desirable but not essential.
-
A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to complete one.
