The Supply Register is seeking a dedicated and motivated Progress Tutor to join Oldham Sixth Form College. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in supporting post-16 learners, helping them to stay on track, achieve their academic goals, and make the most of their sixth form experience.
About the Role

Provide academic and pastoral support to groups of students.

Monitor progress, attendance, and engagement.

Deliver group tutorials and 1-to-1 sessions on topics such as study skills, wellbeing, and personal development.

Work closely with teaching staff to identify and address barriers to learning.

Act as a mentor and role model, supporting learners to achieve their full potential.
What We’re Looking For

Experience of working with young people in an educational or mentoring capacity.

Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

The ability to motivate and inspire learners to achieve their goals.

A proactive and supportive approach to student progress and wellbeing.

A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
