Wraparound Supervisor (Level 3) – Rugeley John Taylor School
The Supply Register are recruiting on behalf of Rugeley John Taylor School for a Wraparound Supervisor (Level 3) to join their growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional to lead the school’s wraparound provision for Nursery and Reception-aged children, providing a safe, engaging and nurturing environment before and after the school day.
Role Details
Position: Wraparound Supervisor (Level 3)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30am to 9:00am
- 3:00pm to 6:00pm
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the wraparound provision, supporting a small group of approximately 10 children per session. You will lead activities, ensure children’s wellbeing and development are promoted, and provide effective supervision of the Wraparound Play Worker.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the wraparound provision.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities suitable for Nursery and Reception children.
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, welfare and health & safety.
- Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing through play.
Essential Requirements
- Recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Experience working with Early Years children.
- Understanding of EYFS requirements.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
