The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Newcastle College to recruit an experienced Travel & Tourism Lecturer to join their team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Travel & Tourism Lecturer to inspire and support the next generation of students within a Further Education setting.
The successful Travel & Tourism Lecturer will be responsible for delivering engaging and industry-focused lessons, supporting learners throughout their studies and helping them develop the knowledge and skills required for successful careers within the travel and tourism sector.
The Role:

Deliver engaging and high-quality Travel & Tourism lessons.

Plan and prepare lessons in line with curriculum requirements.

Assess and monitor learner progress, providing constructive feedback.

Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Use your industry knowledge to bring the Travel & Tourism curriculum to life.

Support students in developing the practical and theoretical skills required for employment and further study.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
About You:
We’re looking for a Travel & Tourism Lecturer who has a strong knowledge of the sector and ideally has previous experience teaching within Further Education.
You should have:

Relevant qualifications or significant industry experience in Travel & Tourism.

Previous teaching, lecturing or training experience.
-
Experience working within a Further Education or similar educational environment is desirable.

Strong communication and organisational skills.
-
A passion for supporting and developing learners.
-
The ability to deliver engaging, industry-relevant teaching.

Role: Travel & Tourism Lecturer
Location: Newcastle College
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Temporary, ongoing
Hours: Full-time/part-time considered depending on candidate availability
