Teaching Assistant – Widnes Academy

Widnes Academy is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our Supply Register. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and personal development in a dynamic and inclusive secondary school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in the classroom, both one-to-one and in small groups

  • Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities

  • Help maintain a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment

  • Support pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children (school-based experience preferred)

  • Patient, reliable, and flexible

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Committed to supporting student learning and development
