SEN Teacher – Pioneer House SEN School (Manchester)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: ASAP / April Start Available
Contract: Full-Time (hours may vary based on school needs)

The Supply Register is delighted to be working in partnership with Pioneer House SEN School in Manchester, a specialist setting dedicated to supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate SEN Teacher who is passionate about creating inclusive learning experiences and helping every child achieve their full potential.


The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Support pupils with EHCPs and a variety of additional needs
  • Foster a safe, structured and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs and wider support teams
  • Track and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where needed
  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience working with SEN pupils in a school or specialist setting
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • A patient, resilient and nurturing approach

Requirements

  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Two professional references covering the last 24 months
  • The right to work in the UK
