Support HubCover Supervisors and Teachers (QTS) – Lewisham
Location: Prendergast Vale, Prendergast Ladywell & Prendergast School, Lewisham
Pay: £100 to £163 per day (aligned with teacher union guidance)
Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible
Start Date: ASAP
We are recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors and teachers with QTS to provide general cover at Prendergast Vale, Prendergast Ladywell, and Prendergast School in the Lewisham area. These are well-established secondary schools with supportive staff and excellent behaviour systems.
This Cover Supervisor role is ideal for candidates with proven experience or qualifications in secondary schools who are confident managing classrooms and maintaining a calm, focused learning environment. Both Cover Supervisors and teachers with QTS will supervise classes and deliver pre-set work only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during teacher absence
- Deliver pre-set work (no planning or marking)
- Manage behaviour in line with school policies
Requirements:
- Experience as a Cover Supervisor, supply teacher, or teacher
- Secondary school experience
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
