The Supply Register is currently recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible supply basis across schools throughout Kent.
We work in partnership with the Leigh Academies Trust and Swale Academies Trust, offering rewarding opportunities in both specialist SEN schools and mainstream primary and secondary schools supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs in both mainstream and specialist SEN settings.

Work one-to-one or with small groups to help pupils access learning and achieve their potential.

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
-
Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence.
-
Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and families where appropriate.

Adapt to different school environments while maintaining a positive and professional approach.
What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you must have:

Experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Experience working within a UK school environment.

A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.

Strong communication and behaviour management skills.

A passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.

A flexible and reliable attitude.
