The Supply Register is delighted to partner with Wade Deacon High School to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join the team on a temporary basis starting after February half term.

✨ About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate Science specialist who can inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will provide high-quality teaching, contribute to the development of the department, and support excellent progress for all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver stimulating Science lessons in line with the school’s curriculum

  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment

  • Promote and uphold the values and ethos of Wade Deacon High School

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Subject specialism in Science, with the ability to teach up to GCSE

  • Strong behaviour management and effective communication skills

  • Commitment to raising standards and supporting pupil development
