The Supply Register is currently recruiting on behalf of CORE Education Trust for an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join the team at Rockwood Academy from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire students, drive achievement, and contribute to a thriving Science department within a supportive and ambitious school environment.
About the Role
As a Science Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire curiosity and foster a passion for scientific enquiry and discovery.
- Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring all learners achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum.
- Play an active role in the wider life of the school.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science.
- Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- Have excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Share the values and ethos of CORE Education Trust.
