About the Role
As a Plumbing Lecturer at Wolverhampton College, you will:
- Deliver engaging and practical lessons across Plumbing programmes,
- Plan and prepare learning activities that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements,
- Support learners in developing both theoretical knowledge and hands-on industry skills,
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement,
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment within classroom and workshop settings,
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure an outstanding learner experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Industry experience within Plumbing or Building Services Engineering,
- Strong practical knowledge of plumbing systems, installation methods, and health and safety requirements,
- Excellent communication and organisational skills,
- A passion for supporting and developing learners,
- A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable,
- A valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
