Be Part of Something Bigger. Shape Culture. Support People. Grow Your Career.

The Supply Register is working in partnership with Kidderminster College to recruit a proactive and people-focused People and Development (P&D) Advisor.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key HR role based at Kidderminster College, while being part of the central NCG People & Development team. You’ll provide local support to managers and colleagues while also having the opportunity to contribute to group-wide HR projects and initiatives across other colleges within NCG.

If you’re passionate about people, culture and employee engagement and want a role where you can make a genuine impact, this could be the opportunity for you.

The Role

As People and Development Advisor, you will:

  • Provide expert HR advice and support to managers and colleagues across the college.
  • Support employee relations casework, ensuring fair, consistent and appropriate outcomes.
  • Use HR data, reporting and analysis to identify trends, provide insight and support informed decision-making.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture, helping create an environment where colleagues feel valued and engaged.
  • Drive colleague engagement initiatives, bringing energy, creativity and new ideas into the workplace.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the wider NCG People & Development team, building strong relationships across the group.
  • Support group-wide HR projects and initiatives, with opportunities to work across other colleges within NCG.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with the confidence to take initiative and find effective solutions.
  • Skilled in data analysis and reporting, able to use insight to identify trends and influence positive outcomes.
  • Passionate about people, culture and colleague engagement, with a genuine interest in creating a great employee experience.
  • Positive and enthusiastic, with the creativity and personality to bring energy and enjoyment into the workplace.
  • A strong communicator, able to build trusted and effective relationships with people at all levels.
  • Able to work independently, while also being an effective team player within a remote and supportive central P&D function.

A Role With Wider Opportunities

Although the position is based at Kidderminster College, you won’t be working in isolation.

The People and Development Advisor will report into the central HR/People & Development team, providing the opportunity to develop relationships and experience across the wider group.

You may have the opportunity to contribute to projects and initiatives across NCG, working with colleagues from other colleges and gaining valuable experience within a large, national education organisation.

This makes the role particularly attractive for an HR professional looking to broaden their experience, develop their career and gain exposure beyond a single college environment.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of NCG, the largest college group in the UK.
  • Work locally at Kidderminster College while contributing to a national People & Development function.
  • Gain the opportunity to support multiple colleges and group-wide initiatives.
  • Join a highly experienced, talented and supportive People & Development team.
  • Enjoy a role that combines autonomy with strong team connection and support.
  • Contribute to a culture that values innovation, engagement and continuous improvement.
  • Develop your HR career within a large and diverse education group.
