Music Teacher – Full Time (Supply)

Location: Beckfoot Upper Heaton, Bradford, BD9 6AL

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Full‑Time, Temporary Supply

Beckfoot Upper Heaton, part of Beckfoot Multi Academy Trust, is seeking a passionate and inspiring Music Teacher to join their team on a full‑time supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who can deliver engaging, high‑quality Music lessons and contribute positively to the school’s creative curriculum.

About the Role

You will teach Music across Key Stages 3, 4 and potentially 5, delivering lessons that inspire creativity, confidence and musical development. As part of The Supply Register’s partnership with Beckfoot Trust, you’ll benefit from consistent support, flexible working options and access to roles not advertised elsewhere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Music lessons across KS3–KS5

  • Plan, prepare and assess in line with curriculum expectations

  • Support pupils’ musical development, creativity and performance skills

  • Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment

  • Contribute to wider school activities where appropriate

What You Need

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching Music at KS3, KS4 and ideally KS5

  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum

  • A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young people

  • The right to work in the UK

  • A DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
