This is an excellent opportunity to support and inspire the next generation of Health and Social Care professionals by delivering high-quality teaching across a range of programmes and levels.
About the Role
As a Health and Social Care Lecturer at Coleg Cambria, you will:
- Deliver Health and Social Care qualifications across Further Education, T Level, and Higher Education programmes,
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements,
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement,
- Support learners to develop their academic knowledge, professional behaviours, and career aspirations,
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality assurance and curriculum development activities,
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide an outstanding learner experience.
What We’re Looking For
- A relevant qualification in Health and Social Care or a closely related subject,
- Previous teaching, training, or assessing experience within Further Education, Adult Education, Higher Education, or a similar setting,
- Knowledge and experience of delivering T Level Health qualifications,
- Experience of Higher Education delivery within Health and Social Care,
- Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills,
- A recognised teaching qualification is desirable, along with a valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
