General Cover Teacher – The Prescot School (Day-to-Day)

The Prescot School is looking for enthusiastic and reliable General Cover Teachers to join our Supply Register for day-to-day cover. This is a fantastic opportunity to support teaching across a range of subjects and year groups in a dynamic secondary school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain continuity of learning

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and professionally

  • Support pupils’ engagement, learning, and wellbeing

  • Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and subjects

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support school routines

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching in a secondary school setting

  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills

  • Flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic

  • Committed to student learning and development
