Are you looking to get into teaching?
Do you have experience working with children or young people and strong classroom management skills?

We are currently seeking Cover Teachers to work across secondary schools within Swale Academies Trust in Eastbourne.

This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers, graduates, or experienced educators looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

The role:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment

  • Ensure students stay on task and engaged during lessons

  • Follow school policies and procedures

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have experience working with children or young people

  • Demonstrate confident classroom and behaviour management skills (essential)

  • Are reliable, adaptable, and professional

  • Are interested in pursuing a career in teaching or education

  • Have a Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required, or willingness to obtain one
