Whiston Willid Primary School is seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with ADHD, starting as soon as possible. This is a long-term opportunity, ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Providing consistent 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with ADHD

Supporting learning, focus, and engagement in the classroom

Implementing behaviour and learning strategies set by the class teacher and SENCO
-
Offering emotional and pastoral support throughout the school day
-
Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and confidence
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-
Have experience supporting pupils with ADHD or SEND (desirable)

Be patient, calm, and proactive
-
Have strong behaviour management skills
-
Be reliable and committed to a long-term role
-
Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or have school-based experience
