The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Education Partnership North East (EPNE) to recruit a Lecturer in Uniformed Public Services for Northumberland College’s Kirkley Hall Campus.
This is an exciting temporary opportunity starting 1st September 2026, with the placement expected to last up to 12 weeks while the college recruits to a permanent position.
As a Lecturer in Uniformed Public Services, you will inspire and support learners preparing for careers within the uniformed protective services, delivering engaging and high-quality teaching while helping students achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in Uniformed Public Services.
- Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements.
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students to achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Essential Requirements:
- Level 5 Teaching Qualification (or equivalent).
- Level 3 (or above) qualification in a relevant industry subject.
- Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Experience delivering high-quality teaching within Further Education or a relevant educational setting.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for supporting learners to succeed.
