We are seeking Computing Lecturers to join our bank staff pool supporting New College Durham. This is a great opportunity for experienced Computing Lecturers or teachers with Further Education experience.
The Role
As a Computing Lecturer, you will support learners to develop essential digital, programming, and IT skills while working towards their qualifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering Computing and IT programmes across a range of levels
- Supporting learners in programming, networking, and digital technologies
- Preparing students for assessments and examinations
- Monitoring progress and providing feedback
- Creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Computing, Computer Science, IT, or a related subject
- Experience teaching Computing or IT programmes
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
