Whether you are an experienced English Teacher or an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT), we would love to hear from you.
The Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Inspire students to develop a love of reading, writing and literature
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress in line with school policies
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to departmental planning and the wider school community
- Support students to achieve their full academic potential
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A passion for raising attainment and supporting student progress
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
