Learning Practitioner – Uniformed Public Services
The Supply Register is currently recruiting on behalf of Sunderland College for a Learning Practitioner – Uniformed Public Services.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support learners studying NCFE Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Uniformed Public Services, helping prepare students for careers within the emergency services, armed forces and wider public service sectors.
The Role
You will deliver engaging lessons, prepare learning materials and assess learner progress across Uniformed Public Services programmes.
Topics may include:
- Uniformed Public Services
- Outdoor Education
- Leadership
- Teamwork
- Physical Fitness
- Emergency Planning
- Citizenship
- Public Service Careers
This role focuses on teaching, preparation and assessment, without wider programme leadership or pastoral responsibilities.
We’re Looking For
- Level 3 qualification (or above) in Uniformed Public Services, Sport, Outdoor Education or a related subject
- Relevant vocational, coaching, training or Uniformed Public Services experience
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards for permanent opportunities)
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
- Enhanced DBS
