Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for flexible opportunities within supportive and welcoming schools?
The Supply Register is proud to work in partnership with Community Academies Trust, recruiting Teaching Assistants to join our Bank Staff Pool across schools in Tamworth.
We are looking for reliable and adaptable Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of year groups on a long-term, short-term and day-to-day basis. Whether you’re looking for regular work or flexible assignments that fit around your commitments, we have opportunities available to suit you.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils where required
- Help create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement
- Support pupils with varying learning needs, including those with SEND where appropriate
- Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children in an educational setting
- A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
- Experience supporting pupils within UK schools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A flexible, reliable and professional approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
