SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Westbridge Academy, Battersea, London
Pay: Paid to Scale
Contract: Full-time
Start Date: September 2026
The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with STEP Academy Trust. We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for Year 3 to join Westbridge Academy on a full-time basis from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to support non -verbal pupils with additional needs within a welcoming and inclusive primary academy. The successful candidate will have proven experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and will play a key role in helping pupils achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored learning activities and promote positive behaviour.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive.
Requirements
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN within a UK school setting – essential.
- Experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs.
- Strong communication skills with a patient, proactive, and caring approach.
