The Supply Register is recruiting a Lecturer in Psychology to provide critical A2 Level teaching at the Yale Campus in Wrexham. This is a part-time, temporary opportunity, ideal for an experienced A Level Psychology lecturer available to support learners through a key period of teaching and learning.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Psychology teaching to A2 (A Level) students, supporting their progress and preparation during a crucial stage of the academic year. The role will involve six weeks of focused, critical teaching, ensuring learners are well-supported academically and confident in the subject content.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering engaging and effective A2 Psychology lessons
Supporting learners with exam preparation and subject understanding
Assessing student work and providing constructive feedback
Maintaining accurate records of learner progress
Working collaboratively with curriculum and academic teams

Requirements

Essential:

Minimum Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE)
Educated to a minimum Level 5 qualification in a relevant subject
Proven experience delivering A2 / A Level Psychology
EWC registration
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Strong classroom management and communication skills
