Are you confident, organised, and passionate about supporting young people in their learning? Hillside High is seeking reliable Cover Supervisors to join their team through the Supply Register.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a secondary school setting, or for experienced cover staff seeking flexible work.

The Role:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher

  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning

  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment

  • Support students to stay on task and engaged

  • Follow school policies and procedures

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable)

  • Confident managing a classroom independently

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Calm, professional, and adaptable approach

  • Reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic
