MEA Central, part of the Prospere Learning Trust, is seeking a reliable and hardworking Catering Assistant to support the school’s catering team.

Role Details

  • Start Date: January

  • Hours: 10:30am – 2:30pm

  • Days: As required / supply basis

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation and serving

  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness

  • Support the smooth running of the school kitchen

  • Follow food safety and health & safety procedures

  • Work effectively as part of a team

Desirable Experience & Skills

  • Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment

  • Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety practices

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • A positive, flexible and reliable attitude

  • Experience working in a school or similar setting (desirable)
