Teaching Assistant – Dixons Fazakerley Secondary School

The Supply Register is working in partnership with Dixons Fazakerley Secondary School to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants. This is an excellent opportunity to support students in a high-performing, inclusive school environment.

✨ The Role

  • Support teaching staff in delivering high-quality lessons across the curriculum

  • Work with individual pupils or small groups to support learning and progress

  • Assist with classroom management and create a positive learning environment

  • Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND and EAL students

  • Contribute to school life, including extracurricular activities where appropriate

  • Help monitor, assess, and record pupil progress

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting learning in a secondary school or classroom setting (preferred but not essential)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare

✅ Qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths desirable

  • Previous experience supporting pupils in a classroom or school environment preferred

  • Willingness to complete safeguarding and other training through The Supply Register
