The Supply Register is working in partnership with primary schools across the area to recruit a passionate KS1 Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or experienced teacher to deliver high-quality education in a supportive and nurturing environment.


✨ The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons for Years 1 and 2

  • Teach across all areas of the National Curriculum, with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and phonics

  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs

  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

  • Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leaders

  • Support pupils’ personal, social, and academic development


Who We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (ECTs welcome)

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Understanding of KS1 curriculum and assessment

  • Experience or interest in phonics teaching

  • Flexible, adaptable, and professional approach

  • Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
