About the Role
Hillside High School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Girls’ PE Teacher to join our team from 23rd February 2026 until at least the end of the academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher to deliver high-quality physical education, inspire participation, and promote a positive attitude towards health, fitness, and wellbeing among students.
The role is being recruited via The Supply Register, offering a supportive and transparent route into a well-regarded school setting.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons to girls across relevant key stages

Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the national curriculum

Promote teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship

Contribute to extracurricular sports activities where appropriate

Ensure a safe and positive learning environment
About You
We are looking for someone who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Has experience teaching PE at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply)

Is passionate about encouraging girls’ participation in sport and physical activity

Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Is a reliable, flexible, and team-oriented professional
