Pay Rate: £15.72 – £19.91 per hour

About the Role
The Supply Register are proud to be working in partnership with Newcastle College, part of NCG, to recruit a Print Room Technician to provide temporary cover.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled print professional with both traditional print production knowledge and digital design skills to support the college. The role is varied and hands-on, ensuring the smooth running of print services for staff and students.
Key Responsibilities

Operating and maintaining a range of print room equipment to produce high-quality printed materials.

Supporting staff and students with print requirements, ensuring jobs are completed to agreed deadlines.

Using Adobe Creative Suite and other digital tools to prepare, edit, and manage artwork for print.

Maintaining stock levels of paper, ink, and other consumables.

Ensuring health and safety standards are followed within the print room.

Assisting with other technical or administrative duties related to the role when required.
What We’re Looking For

Previous experience with traditional printing techniques (essential).

Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Good communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work to deadlines.

A proactive, customer-focused approach when supporting staff and students.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
