Hours: Mon & Tue 8:00am – 4:00pm, Wed & Thu 9:00am – 2:00pm & 3:30pm – 9:00pm, Fri 8:00am – 4:00pm

The Supply Register is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of Newcastle College for a talented and dedicated Head Chef to lead their on-campus restaurant. This is a fantastic opportunity to not only showcase your culinary skills but also play a key role in shaping the next generation of chefs.
About the Role:
As Head Chef, you’ll be working closely with groups of catering students throughout the week, providing hands-on guidance, support, and professional expertise in a real working restaurant environment. You’ll be responsible for leading the kitchen, planning and delivering high-quality menus, and ensuring students gain valuable, practical experience.

What we’re looking for:

A strong catering background with proven experience working in a professional kitchen

Ideally, experience working in education or training environments (though not essential)

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Flexibility and passion for supporting student learning and development

A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one
