Independent Needs Assistants (INA) needed 

The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Swale Academies Trust to recruit dedicated and experienced Independent Needs Assistants (INA) to support pupils in schools across Eastbourne.

We work with vibrant and welcoming schools which can offer a fantastic environment for both pupils and staff. The successful candidates will play a key role in supporting pupils who require consistent, structured support and positive reinforcement to thrive in the classroom.

About the Role:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
  • Addressing both behavioural and academic challenges
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individualised strategies
  • Morning-only role (exact hours to be confirmed)

✅ Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN and/or behavioural needs (essential)
  • Ability to manage behaviour confidently and constructively
  • Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
  • A genuine passion for helping children succeed
  • DBS registered on the update service is essential
