As Resourcing and Compliance Officer at The Supply Register, I work closely with my Partnership teams to support with sourcing candidates, booking them in for registrations and getting them cleared for work.
Most of my previous experience is in administrative roles. Most recently, I worked as a payroll supervisor, getting people paid on time and working to strict deadlines. I was also responsible for ensuring candidates were compliant for work, giving the final sign off.
The Supply Register is very different from any company I have worked for before. There are clearly-defined roles for different positions – not everyone doing everything. That way everyone knows where to turn and there is responsibility and accountability.
Since starting at The Supply Register, I have progressed so much. I have honed my skills and experience from other jobs and become more confident. I’ve also improved my understanding and knowledge, especially with compliance.
The most rewarding part of my role is seeing a candidate through from initial call to being in a job. I take great satisfaction in helping someone find work, as well as helping children to get the support they need.
I love how tight knit we all are as a team. We work remotely, but I have developed great relationships with everyone. We all get behind each other and support each other.
There are no egos, just a team that wants to drive the company forward.
