My role here at The Supply Register is to support Primary schools in Nottinghamshire, but my career in education has spanned over 15 years. For eight of these, I have worked in education recruitment and before this as a Teacher in Nottingham and internationally in Kuwait.
My specialism as a recruiter has previously been to connect staff to SEN schools, and I have developed a clear understanding of the sector. More recently, I have been able to use my background as a Primary Teacher to support Primary Schools with their staffing needs.
Having high expectations of service and ethical values, working for The Supply Register has attracted me greatly. With the agreements in place, offering transparency to schools affords The Supply Register time to focus on providing its clients with the most qualified staff. With my thorough approach, I leave no stone unturned when searching for suitable candidates for the right schools. I like that The Supply Register gives that personal touch with both clients and candidates and the time to meet their individual needs.
The Supply Register has clear ideas on how education recruitment should be and a vision of how to take this forward; added to this the support of NASUWT, I believe that we are leading how supply to schools will be in the future.
