SEND Teaching Assistant required

£87-£99 (daily)
The Supply Register is currently working in partnership with Ark Franklin Primary Academy in Kensal Rise to find an experienced SEND TA to join their team ASAP. This role will involve working on a 1:1 basis with a child in Year 4 who has challenging behaviour and some additional needs.
Responsibilities
- Look after students physical, social and emotional welfare
- Create a stimulating environment for pupils
- Attend meetings or reviews regarding pupils’ progress where necessary
- Accurately report any incidents or concerns and escalate where necessary
- Help to maintain pupils’ safety both inside and outside of the classroom
Requirements
- Must have previous experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour
- Must hold the right to work in the UK
- Must hold an enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be willing to process one
- Must be able to provide a minimum of 2 references to cover the last 2 years
