The Supply Register currently works in partnership with Ark (Multi Academy Trust) and their schools are looking to recruit teaching assistants for day-to-day support and short/long term roles. There are placements for Day to Day supply and Short-Term/ Long-term contracts available.
As a teaching assistant you are there to assist the class teacher and ensure students are completing their work and are also expected to effectively help manage the behaviour in the classroom. You will cover a wide range of subjects from the whole curriculum, so a specific subject knowledge is not essential but if there are any subjects that are a specialism for you then please just let us know!
Requirements
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Experience in an education based or childcare based role is essential
- Provide a minimum of two professional references
