Salary: £119 – £159

We are seeking to appoint an innovative, committed, strategic and enthusiastic history specialist to provide support for the humanities faculty from October 2023 for one of their secondary schools. The Supply Register are working as a managed service provider for Multi Academy Trusts across the Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stoke-on-Trent area. The school is looking to appoint in October 2023 for one term initially with the possibility of a permanent position being available for the right candidate.
As part of our bank staff you will have the following available to you:
- A weekly salary on a Friday (PAYE)
- Support throughout your placements
- First come first serve to any work/ days that schools need
- Direct access to your local partnership manager
To be considered for the position of Supply Teacher ideally you would have:
- Experience teaching within a school or are a newly qualified teacher
- Be confident in the delivery of History and Sociolgy at KS4 and KS5/Sixth Form level
- Hold Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
- Be creative in delivering a rigorous, aspirational curriculum
- Be passionate about improving outcomes for all our students
- Have excellent interpersonal skills that you will use to inspire, challenge and motivate students and staff
- Believe that every student can and will succeed
- Be flexible in your approach to work, adapting to new challenges
