The Supply Register is currently working in partnership with the Ark schools across London and are currently looking to appoint an experienced science teacher for one of their academies based in Wandsworth.
The successful candidate will be a role model for students, leading by example in all aspects of school life, and have willingness to build upon their existing skills.
The ideal candidate will be working across year 7 – 11.
Responsibilites:
- Teaching science to students with a range of different learning abilities
- Preparing, planning, and delivering engaging lessons whilst staying up to date with curriculum developments and implementing these in your lessons
- Writing and implementing education plans, making assessments of educational attainment, setting achievable targets for pupils
- Build relationships with all pupils and dealing with sensitive issues by following the school policies at all times
Requirements:
- Have the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Have prvious experience as Maths Teacher
- Hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one
- Must be able to provide a minimum of 2 years worth of professional references
