School Cleaner required in East Sussex
Days: Monday to Friday – Permananet role for the right cndidate
Hours: 3:30pm – 6:30pm – (39 weeks per year plus 5 weeks to be worked in the school holidays)
The Supply Register are looking for a reliable Cleaner to join one of our school in hard-working team who clean our two campuses. You will have your own dedicated area and will have access to a range of online training for your role.
As part of the cleaning team, you will play a vital role maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for our students, staff and visitors. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere within the school premises.
As the ideal candidate you will:
- Have experience of cleaning to a high standard, preferably in a school environment
- Pay attention to detail and have a strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
- Be able to take ownership of tasks and complete to a high standard
- Have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Be able to manage a high-volume workload & prioritise accordingly to meet deadlines
- Have the ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Be flexible in covering other team members when required.

This is a large secondary academy with a Sixth Form provision in Hastings, East Sussex and is the largest secondary in the successful Turst network. A popular school that is heavily over-subscribed, they have grown to have over 1,600 students this year.
