The Supply Register is currently working in partnership with Ark King Solomon Academy to appoint an exceptional Lead Teacher of Chemistry to join their team ASAP. Through weekly coaching and time allocated to professional development they can help their teachers and leaders excel in creating a successful environment for our pupils. This role will include A-level leadership and teaching of A-level.
Responsibilities of a Lead Teacher of Chemistry
- Build on the current Chemistry curriculum to extend and develop it further
- Model excellent pupil discipline and culture inside the classroom and across the whole academy
- Contribute to the effective working of the academy
- Be held accountable for all curriculum direction, teaching quality, and pupil attainment in their subject area
- Provide a nurturing classroom and school environment that helps students to develop as learners
- Helping to maintain/establish discipline across the whole academy
- Contribute to the effective working of the Academy
Requirements for this role
- Must hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications
- Must hold the Right to work for the UK
- Must hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to process one
- Must be able to provide a minimum of 2 professional references to cover the last 2 years
