L2 or above Teaching Assistant in Sylvester Primary school
The supply register are looking to recruit a L2 or above Teaching assistant to work through ourselves on a long term contract which may lead permanent in the future, in one of our partnered schools in Huyton, Sylvester Primary Academy. The school are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching assistant, to support a Child in Y4 with Autism, the child is high functioning and is more in need of emotional support, can have odd outburst but this is not a behaviour focused role.
Start date is ASAP subject to a successful trial day in the school, with no end date in mind. Please apply if you see yourself being able to commit long long term to stay with the Child throughout their primary education years.
Monday-Friday 8:30-3:30 during term time
The right person for this role will be someone that has strong experience, good knowledge and a genuine passion for supporting Children with Autism, additional needs and an active personality. The right person should have a nurturing personality, good at building strong relationships and techniques to support with social and academic growth.
Requirements-
- Experience supporting Children mainstream or with additional needs in an educational or similar setting within the last 3 years.
- L2 and above in supporting Teachers in schools or Childcare.
- Always ensuring safeguarding is kept to a high standard.
- The ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
- To care about your work and do the best for your students.
