General Cover Teachers Required
Westbourne Academy, Ipswich
The Supply Register is currently working in partnership with Westbourne Academy in Ipswich to find experienced General cover Teachers to join them from September 2023. The roles will be a mix of daily supply, short-term supply, and long-term supply depending on the schools’ requirements. You will be required to cover a range of topics from the national curriculum and all secondary year groups.

Responsibilities
- Provide insightful lessons for students of all abilities
- Track student progress and provide feedback where necessary
- Work collaboratively with fellow staff members to ensure students are receiving the highest levels of education and care
- Ensure student safety both inside and outside of the classroom
- Liaise effectively with Senior Leaders, SENDCo, colleagues as well as parents/carers and other outside agencies
Requirements
- Must hold QTS for the UK to be considered for this role
- Must have previous experience of qualified teaching
- Must have the Right to work in the UK
- Must hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to process one
- Must be willing to provide a minimum of 2 professional references to cover the last 2 years
